The festival
A 13-day conversation across Woodbrook and Port of Spain
Erotic Art Week TT returns in 2026 for its fourth instalment. Previous editions took place in 2009, 2010 and 2011. Across 13 days and a range of venues in Woodbrook and Port of Spain, the festival brings together artists, venues, businesses and audiences through exhibitions, performances, conversations and shared experiences.
The festival makes space for work that explores identity, intimacy, sensuality, freedom and society. It encourages questions, exchange and new ways of understanding contemporary Caribbean art and life.

Call for artists
Interpret Thirst!
The Erotic Art Week T&T Committee invites proposals from visual and performing artists interested in exploring and exhibiting works of erotic art.
Thirst can be read widely — as desire, longing, drought, appetite, ambition, survival, celebration or refusal. We are looking for contemporary works that explore erotica in earnestness and honesty, delving into the under-explored local vernacular of erotica.
- 2D and 3D work
- Performances
- Short film and video
- Spoken word and poetry
- Literature
- Photography
- Innovative uses of new technology
- Advertising
- Artistic merit
- Mastery or a high degree of experimentation in technique, and work that addresses the challenge of provoking sexual thirst rather than presenting the pornographic.
- Relevance
- A unique approach to the theme that sheds new light on erotica in Trinidad and Tobago and the wider Caribbean.
- Feasibility
- The scope should be compatible with EAW's resources, with clear plans for installing and maintaining the work for the duration of the festival.
